Metsola Friends – Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions

General

These terms and conditions apply to the contractual relationship between consumer customers and Metsola Lifestyle Oy regarding loyalty, which is related to the company's online stores metsola.fi and metsola.co . This program offers loyal customers the opportunity to earn benefits based on their membership level based on the purchase value of the online store in the previous 12 months and by accumulating points.

As our loyal customer, you will receive variable benefits that are exclusive to loyal customers. Some of the benefits are based on your membership level (Buddies, Friends, Sweeties or Besties), and some are based on the points you have accumulated. Some of the benefits are available to all loyal customers. Read more about earning points and benefits below.

Membership is voluntary and free of charge . By joining, you agree to these terms and conditions. Membership is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and have a valid email address. Metsola Lifestyle reserves the right to terminate membership and void points in cases of misuse.

Points and annual purchases can be accumulated or membership benefits can be used only in Metsola's online store (metsola.fi / metsola.co) unless otherwise stated .

We are constantly developing our loyalty program. Metsola Lifestyle reserves the right to make changes to the loyalty program and its terms and conditions. See all current loyalty benefits here .

 

Joining and customer information


You can join the program by filling out the registration form in our online store. Loyalty membership is free and valid until further notice. The information you need to join (e.g. name, email address) must be provided correctly. The customer is responsible for keeping their information up to date (e.g. change of address, email).

The customer does not have to accept email marketing to become a loyal customer. If you accept email marketing, you will receive, among other things, information about all personal benefits, level upgrades, and general marketing communications to your email. If you do not accept email marketing, you will not receive information about benefits, point expiration, level upgrades, and other similar matters to your email. In that case, we will only inform you about essential matters related to your account by email - such as changes to the terms and conditions of loyalty benefits. However, you can always find your loyalty information and benefits in your loyalty account.

Membership is personal. One person may only have one Metsola Friends membership and email address. By updating your information, for example your birthday, you can earn more loyalty points. Providing this information is voluntary.

You can opt out of the loyalty program at any time. If you wish to opt out of the loyalty program, please send us a message at info@metsola.fi .

 

Membership levels and purchase accumulation


Loyalty begins when you become a loyal customer. Orders made before joining are not taken into account when accruing the level threshold. Even if you have created a customer account before, the loyalty program was launched on November 7, 2025, which is why purchases made before the launch cannot be taken into account in the loyalty program.

When you become a regular customer, you are automatically at the lowest Buddies level, as there is no purchase accumulation requirement for that level. You will automatically move to the next (or the next) level when your purchase accumulation exceeds the annual threshold for that level. Once you reach that level, you will have a 12-month period during which you will maintain your level at least at the current level.

Compliance with the level limit is checked annually.

When checking the level:

  • you will remain at the same level if your purchases (even after possible returns) still exceed the required threshold during the previous 12 months,
  • or, conversely, you will drop to a lower tier if your purchases fall below the tier threshold during the previous 12 months. However, you can always move back up to a higher tier when the annual purchase threshold is met again.

 

Metsola Friends membership levels (including VAT):

Currently, membership levels are determined based on purchase volume as follows:

  • Buddies: When your online store orders are worth €0–€150 in the last 12 months
  • Friends: When your online store orders are worth more than €150 in the last 12 months
  • Sweeties: When your online store orders are worth more than €300 in the last 12 months
  • Besties: When your online store orders are worth more than €650 in the last 12 months

 

Example: You have joined as a loyal customer. If you do not make any purchases, you will remain at the Buddies level. If, for example, you place an order worth more than €300 after joining as a loyal customer, you will move from the Buddies level directly to the Sweeties level, where you will receive the benefits of the Sweeties level (but not the “level-up point rewards” of the previous levels). Even if you do not make any purchases for the next 12 months, you will remain at the Sweeties level. After a year, the level will be automatically reviewed and the level will be determined based on the value of your purchases in the previous 12 months.

Please note that refunds are deducted from the total value of purchases before determining membership level.

Points do not affect membership level.

Metsola Lifestyle reserves the right to change the terms and benefits of the levels.

 

Accumulation and use of points

Points will start to accumulate in accordance with the points accumulation terms and conditions from the moment you create a customer account in our online store and become a loyal customer. Please note that the loyalty program was launched on November 7, 2025, which is why it has not been possible to earn points for purchases or other actions made before the launch.

Purchases made in the online store earn points in accordance with the current terms and conditions as follows:

1 € spent = 1 point - so for example, an order of 200 euros equals 200 points earned.

Points appear automatically in your member account immediately after purchase and are valid for 12 months from the date the points were earned .

Points can also be accumulated in other ways, which Metsola will inform about separately on the loyalty program page.

Accumulated points can be exchanged for benefits predefined by Metsola Friends. The monetary value of the points, the minimum redemption requirement and the uses are announced separately on Metsola's website or in the member account.

Points are valid for 12 months from the date they are earned, unless otherwise stated. Points will be notified of their expiration by email within a reasonable time before the expiration date. Expired points will be automatically voided.

Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Redeemed benefits or coupons cannot be converted into points.

The value of the points is as follows, unless otherwise stated:

  • 1 point = equal to 0.05 euros

Points can be redeemed for the following benefits (until otherwise announced):

  • 100 points = €5 discount (minimum order value required for redemption: €50)
  • 200 points = €10 discount (minimum order value required for redemption: €85)
  • 300 points = €15 discount (minimum order value required for redemption: €100)

Points are redeemed through your member account. Once redeemed, points are automatically deducted from your points total and cannot be refunded. The discount code redeemed with points will remain in your points history and you can use it whenever you see fit. The code is for one-time use.

When purchasing a gift card, points are accumulated normally, but when paying with a gift card, new points are not accumulated.

 

Terms and conditions of use of benefits

  • The benefit is personal and one-time use unless otherwise stated.
  • The benefit can only be used in Metsola's online store unless otherwise stated.
  • The benefit cannot be combined with any other discounts unless specifically permitted.
  •  The benefit cannot be used to purchase gift cards or other specifically restricted items, unless otherwise stated.
  • Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Redeemed benefits or coupons cannot be returned as points. If part of an order for which a coupon has been used is returned, the benefit will be considered used and will not automatically be returned as a new benefit.
  • The free shipping benefit from leveling up is only valid for orders delivered within Finland.

 

Returns


If a member returns a product for which points have been earned, the points earned from the purchase of that product will be deducted from the member's account. If the return results in a negative points balance, points earned from subsequent purchases will be used primarily to balance the balance.

Returns also affect the determination of the membership level: if the purchase volume falls below the level criterion due to returns, the membership level will be updated to a lower level.

If a member returns part of an order, the benefit will be considered used and no new benefit will be automatically granted in its place.

Separate terms and conditions apply to the use of vouchers.

Data protection and customer communications


By joining the loyalty program, you agree to the terms and conditions of the loyalty program.

By joining the program, you agree that Metsola may process your personal data for the purpose of implementing the loyalty program. The data will be processed in accordance with data protection legislation and the customer can request deletion or verification of their data from customer service.

The customer does not have to accept marketing communications to become a loyal customer. If the customer accepts marketing communications, he will receive, among other things, information about all personal benefits, level upgrades and general marketing communications to his email. If the customer does not accept email marketing, he will not receive information about benefits, point expiration, level upgrades and other similar matters to his email. In that case, we will only inform you about essential account and membership-related matters by email - such as changes to the terms and conditions of the loyal customer benefits. However, the customer will always find the loyal customer information and benefits in his loyal customer account.

Communication related to loyalty programs takes place via email and Metsola's online service or in another manner notified by Metsola (and approved by you).

The loyal customer is responsible for all activities that occur through his/her Metsola loyal customer account. The customer is responsible for the security and storage of his/her own login information. We recommend using a strong and secure password and changing it regularly or when necessary.

Membership termination and account deactivation


A member can withdraw from the program at any time by emailing Metsola's customer service at info@metsola.fi. Upon termination, membership and its benefits will end, points will be voided and will not be refunded.

If a member has not logged into their account and made no purchases for 36 months (3 years), Metsola may deactivate the account and delete it. The member will be notified in advance via email.

Changes and program termination


Metsola reserves the right to change the terms, benefits, points system and level limits of the loyalty program and to discontinue the program altogether. The terms may be updated for business or other justified reasons, and the changes will come into effect at a time announced by Metsola. The changes will not retroactively affect benefits already accrued, unless otherwise announced or stipulated.

Such changes will be notified to members at least a reasonable time in advance by email and/or on Metsola's website, unless the change is immediate or required by law. If a member does not accept the changes, he or she has the right to withdraw from the program before the changes come into effect.

In exceptional circumstances, Metsola may change, limit, suspend or terminate the loyalty program without prior notice if the change is due to, for example, the following reasons:

  • significant change in production, supply or demand conditions
  • changes in services provided by third parties
  • reasons related to data protection, information security or financial security
  • changes in legislation or official decisions that could not have been anticipated.

Metsola is not responsible for any technical disruptions to the program, delays in registering points, changes to external services, or inconveniences caused by the member's own lack of knowledge.

Metsola reserves the right to make changes to the loyalty program and its terms and conditions.
